An organic–inorganic hybrid was prepared by simply mixing a fullerene derivative with polymethoxysiloxane. First, C60 was subjected to a radical addition reaction with 4,4′-azobis(4-cyanovaleric acid) to provide a C60 derivative. Polymethoxysiloxane was prepared by a controlled hydrolytic condensation of tetramethoxysilane. These two compounds were mixed and heated to provide hybrid bulk body. The hybrid bulk body showed high mechanical strength and elastic modulus compared with polymethoxysiloxane or the C60/polymethoxysiloxane hybrid. The formation of a dense siloxane network was established by a homogeneous mixing of the C60 derivative with polymethoxysiloxane.  相似文献

Here it is demonstrated that mesoporous silicas (MPSs) can be used as effective “topological crosslinkers” for poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPA) hydrogels to improve the mechanical property. Three‐dimensional bicontinuous mesporous silica is found to effectively reinforce the PNIPA hydrogels, as compared to nonporous silica and two‐dimensional hexagonally ordered mesoporous silica.  相似文献

The prediction problem for a multivariate normal distribution is considered where both mean and variance are unknown. When the Kullback–Leibler loss is used, the Bayesian predictive density based on the right invariant prior, which turns out to be a density of a multivariate t-distribution, is the best invariant and minimax predictive density. In this paper, we introduce an improper shrinkage prior and show that the Bayesian predictive density against the shrinkage prior improves upon the best invariant predictive density when the dimension is greater than or equal to three.  相似文献

A novel type of three-dimensional (3D) tetrahedral silsesquioxane-based porous frameworks (TSFs) with diamond-like structure was computationally designed using the density functional theory (DFT) and classical molecular mechanics (MM) calculations. The hydrogen adsorption and diffusion properties of these TSFs were evaluated by the methods of grand canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. The results reveal that all designed materials possess extremely high porosity (87–93 %) and large H2 accessible surface areas (5,268–6,544 m2 g?1). Impressively, the GCMC simulation results demonstrate that at 77 K and 100 bar, TSF-2 has the highest gravimetric H2 capacity of 29.80 wt%, while TSF-1 has the highest volumetric H2 uptake of 65.32 g L?1. At the same time, the gravimetric H2 uptake of TSF-2 can reach up to 4.28 wt% at the room temperature. The extraordinary performances of these TSF materials in hydrogen storage made them enter the rank of the top hydrogen storage materials so far.  相似文献

Based on experimental findings models of amorphous graphene related carbon materials were generated using graphene nano flakes. On the optimized structures detailed local electronic properties were investigated using density functional theory. The electrical conductivities of all these models were also estimated using an in-house program based on tight-binding method. The calculated electrical conductivity values of all the models agreed well with the trend of calculated energy gap and graphitic character.  相似文献

Abstract

The hematoside analog 1 [NeuGcα(2→3)Galβ(1→4)Glcβ(1→1)Cer], which contains a phytosphingosine as a sphingoid base and an α-hydroxyfatty acid, has been synthesized. Coupling of the methyl (methyl 5-benzyloxyacetamido-4,7,8,9-tetra-O-acetyl-3,5-dideoxy-2-thio-D-glycero-α- and -β-D-galacto-2-nonulopyranosid)onate 5, prepared from the corresponding 5-acetamido derivative 2, with a lactose derivative 6 afforded sialolactoside 7, which was converted to the corresponding trichloroacetimidate 10. Glycosylation of 10 with the ceramide tribenzoate 12 gave the protected hematoside analog 13, which was deprotected to the hematoside analog 1.  相似文献
